We have had a 7 piece set of Henckels for over 30 years and we decided that it was time to upgrade our knives. It took over a year to decide which knives to purchase. We finally decided that ZWILLING was the best choice for us and we purchased several knives and we are very glad we did, however, I then had to purchase a bigger knife block to hold the beautiful new knives.

Form and function!

Packaged wonderfully and blade was very sharp upon opening. The pattern on the blade is beautiful and the handle is substantial without being too heavy. Very well constructed, seems like it will last a long time with proper care!

I like how easy it is to handle this knife. The blade was sharp right out the box. There were a few blemishes from the damascus though.

It feel amazing in the hands, well balance light and the sharpness of the knife I ever had and used. I Before buying it I search in-depth about miyabi knifes. It blade and construction is well made knifes. Will most likely be the last knife set.

After owning a few different brands of chef knives, I can say that this is by far the best knife I've ever owned.
The handle is extremely comfortable for those long tasks, it's extremely well balanced, and the construction feels like it was built to last a lifetime.
The blade, right out of the box, is extremely sharp... It's impressively sharp. I tested the precision by cutting the thinnest slice of tomato I've ever seen.
Will continue to replace my knives with Miyabi in the future!

One of the best knives I have ever owned- and I have quite a few very high end, Japanese knives that cost quite a bit more than this one. Balance is perfect, and it's VERY VERY sharp.
