I bought this knife a year ago, and it immediately became my favorite! This knife is ridiculously sharp!!! Its well balanced, and the handle feels great in my hand. My favorite part however is the warranty. My blade for some reason developed some pitting along the edge. I logged into the website and filled out the warranty info, and they sent me a return authorization and then replaced the knife with a brand new one! I'm a Miyabi customer for life.

Better than Western Without the Hassle

Everything you would expect out of a chef’s knife with utmost attention to detail. The D-shaped handle fits comfortably even for use with my left hand. While razor sharp and thin behind the edge I don’t find it nearly as prone to chips as other similarly priced Gyutohs.

Very well made Chef knife. It is very well balanced and comfortable to use. Blade is sharp and thin which I prefer to make more accurate cuts. I highly recommend this knife for someone who is passionate about cooking.
