The finishings on this knife are absolutely stunning and make the cool factor of the knife 10/10. When it comes to the actually performance of the knife it is just as great as the looks. It cuts everything so easily from fruits, vegetables, meats, you name it, it cuts! Highly recommend this knife!

I got this gift for Father’s Day. Absolutely love it. Excellent balance excellent feel great. Ergonomics stunning to look at. Razor sharp I could shave with it.

Love this knife!

This is a beautiful knife that is a joy to use. The handle fits perfectly in my hand and the blade is razor sharp. I worked in our curling club kitchen for 8 hours cooking for 140 people and used this knife to slice tomatoes, onions, meat, and a watermelon. It sliced through it all like butter. My 1/4" thick slices of tomato were gorgeous. I have an older Miyabi Santoku that I have loved for many years, but I am so glad I upgraded.

I love how light this knife is. It is super easy to hold and use while the blade fits everything with ease. I also love the design and feel like I have a designer knife in my kitchen!

I like to think of myself as a decent amateur chef and I've been looking to step up my knife game recently. I saw this 8" Gyutoh on sale at Jungle Jim's and immediately searched for reviews and headed home with jt. It is an absolutely stunning piece of Japanese craftsmanship and a pleasure to work with.
This knife is incredibly sharp and perfect for vegetables. If you're a home chef that's tired of your Cuisinart knife set and ready for a "cut" above, this Gyutoh is the perfect first step.
