[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The product just arrived and it is great. Looks amazing, seems to be out of great materials. Not heavy, perfect weight and balance
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I finally decided to invest in a nice chef's knife. Tried out several at the store, and the Kaizen 2 had a really great feel. The knife is surprisingly light with a thin blade that is primarily triangular with a slight belly. The balance point is right at the junction between blade and handle. I grip the knife with my thumb and index finger on the blade and it feels very comfortable in my hand.
Tried it out while prepping a few meals over the past couple of days and I'm loving it! It seems to hold its edge well, though this will be tested more in the months to come. The thin blade passes easily through foods, and its Damascus pattern is beautiful to boot!
I'm very pleased with the purchase. If you're considering buying a knife, give this one a try!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The blade and handle have great balance and feel very comfortable in my hand. The cutting edge glides through everything I put it through this far.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The edge on this is excellent. The handle is comfortable for bigger hands which is sometimes an issue with Japanese knives. Overall by far the best chefs knife ive ever owned
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Reply love the cutting blade on that knife. I finally can see how the right knife helps you develop knife skills. A slightly smaller size handle would fit my hands.
