[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Never really wanted to spend the money on a quality knife, I was gifted this one year as a gift and immediately fell in love, been using it for 4 years now and lt has held up very well, it stays sharp and is the perfect weight. My only issue was after a couple months of use the tip of the blade broke off, but other than that I love this knife

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this knife best from my small collection of Shun, Wustof, Henckels, and a few cheapies. It is lightweight so appropriate for smaller hands or all day use. It sliced through a tomato without any resistance, along with onions and made perfect tempeh cubes. I might get a set of knuckle guards to wear just as a precaution as I acclimate to a sharper knife. Do not hesitate. it is stunningly beautiful with details you will rarely find except from the Miyabi line. I also have my eye on the 8” Nakiri, as well as the Artisan line. A+
