My first "real" knife

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After many years spent cooking with crappy, cheap, dull knives, I finally am in a place financially and skill-wise to afford and appreciate a nice knife. The Damascus pattern is beautiful, and the blade is surprisingly light, and incredibly sharp. The knife has a nice feel in the hand for me (small-handed woman). Hopefully I can add to my collection of Miyabi knives soon!

Exquisite Knife

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As an ex-chef who is intimately familiar with quality knives, this is a fantastic knife for the price. The weight is hefty, though balanced. The belly of the handle is also very comfortable in the hand while allowing for proper pinch-grip. I have not needed to sharpen or hone yet, but I expect the edge to hold quite well.
Outside of use and feel, it is truly a beautiful blade—I love the affect of the acid wash on the Damascus.
