Beautiful knife. Recommended by a close friend in the industry, with the quote “work horse of a knife. Used 8-10 a day for multiple years. Held a perfect edge and balanced beautifully. If you’re on the fence about purchasing. Jump off the fence and order.

This will be my first big knife purchase as I have been wanting to invest in my kitchenware! And I am pleased to say how luxe This knife is! It has a decent weight to it but is also lightweight. I am super excited to see how it plays out!

I was able to look at about a dozen knife options at William Sonoma and chose this one. It's lightweight, balanced, and feels almost like a natural extension of your hand. Also, if you're going to spend this much money, you may as well get something that looks like a work of art. The layered steel on the blade looks great. I'm told the greatest thing about these is that they retain their edge for a very long time.
