Beautiful Design and Quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is absolutely beautiful, as are all things Japanese, especially those that have ancient traditions. I believe these knives were made in the same manner as Samurai Swords. Although, I have no intention of cutting someone's head off, just the thought of how old this forging process is puts me in awe. Very sharp. I'm not sure if this is a complaint but the Damascus pattern seems a little chipped or frayed on the end of the blade near the handle. However, it is hand made.
