Yes yes and yes!

The balance and weight is terrific and the edge is fantastic. My wife is scared to use this thing it’s so sharp.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m no expert on kitchen knives by any means. I’ve always collected top tier pocket/fixed blade knives so I know what to look for when I comes to construction, edge quality, and steel and this knife really impressed me.
My one complaint is the width of the blades edge is not very consistent towards the tip of the blade. Unfortunately my phone cameras pictures are too large to upload to this review.
All in all I am extremely happy with the blade. The handle is extremely comfortable as well
I would recommend this to a friend!

The Bakemono of Knives

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In the first use of this knife I knew my skill set had improved. The knife is deadly sharp and the perfect size. We made sushi for Christmas eve. I've never had such an easy time cutting and preparing. I am an instant fan. Well worth the investment. Well done.

Everything you would expect

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Exceptional product and all you would expect from a high quality Japanese style knife. It has a thin blade, exceptional sharpness, well balanced and relatively light weight when compared to German style knives. I’ve owned this for 8 yrs and had to buy a replacement after I dropped my previous one a broke the tip. I tried to go back to my German style and just missed this blade too much.
