Incredibly sharp and smooth

This is also perfect knife to use for your everyday cooking needs. We loved the nakiri so much that we decided to get the miyabi chef's knife for all other purposes. Its super sharp and smooth and glides on the fish, meat or any vegetables. Cooking has been fun while using this knife.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This knife is wonderful, it’s so sharp and cuts through everything like butter. This will be a staple in my kitchen for years to come. It fits in my hand like a glove.

The 8inch chef’s knife by Miyabi is perfect for all home-cooking needs. Not to mention it’s one of the most beautiful knives I’ve used. It makes me excited to cook all the time!

Sharpness is great out of the box, even better after a professional sharpening. Similar to other Miyabi Artisan series I've tried and own, I love the handle shape.

Miyabi Artisan 8” chef knife

This knife came razor sharp out of the box and feels like a very high quality item in the hand. We cut potatoes and carrots with it and it slices through them like a laser. Time will tell on how the edge holds up but we are impressed so far.
