[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After trying many different western and Japanese style knives, I settled on the Artisan 8" knife as my all around go to knife in the kitchen. For me, the handle felt comfortable in my hand and was perfectly balanced. Its beautiful as well! The blade is significantly sharper than the competition, and for those reasons it was the knife for me.

I guess she noticed my not-so-secret admiration that she surprised me with my very own chef knife too. I will treasure it daily.
