Prepping food is no problem

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love that this knife is extremely sharp so little to no effort is needed when slicing, dicing or mincing. Love the weight to the handle that gives it nice balance and how the wood is curved to form to your natural grip. This is my first japanese knife, I have always wanted one and now I truly feel like a chef!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this at work everyday. I am a butcher and this knife makes quick work of whatever we handle on a day to day basis. The grip is phenomenal and the knife is very well balanced. It hold an edge beautifully.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My girlfriend got it for me for Christmas and we used it to make Christmas dinner and even cutting the roast was easy and like butter. I liked this knife so much I bought a different one from the collection!

Everything you would expect

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Exceptional product and all you would expect from a high quality Japanese style knife. It has a thin blade, exceptional sharpness, well balanced and relatively light weight when compared to German style knives. I’ve owned this for 8 yrs and had to buy a replacement after I dropped my previous one a broke the tip. I tried to go back to my German style and just missed this blade too much.
