Amazing Knife

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried a lot of different Japanese knives and none fit exactly how I wanted so I ordered this on a whim. And wow am I happy I did. The belly handle just fits my hand so perfectly and the slightly flattened top really feels more stable. The knife is a work of art and performs incredibly in the kitchen. Using it every day now!

Best Knife I’ve Ever Used

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been working on my cooking for a while, but for well over a decade I’ve never been able to get into cooking, because I hated the prep of cutting everything. This is my first good knife, but also the first time I’ve ever held a knife that felt great, and just slid through what I was cutting. No matter how sharp my old knives were, they never felt this good.

Very sharp and beautiful knife

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The blade edge is razor sharp, the finish beautiful and the heft very comfortable. The only reason I took off a star is because I expected such an expensive knife to be accompanied by care instructions but I didn’t get any.

Beautiful Knife

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This knife is absolutely beautiful. I tried out a number in store including shun, mac, and other Japanese brands and this blew them all away. Very comfortable to hold and nice V10 steel so not as brittle as the classic Shun.
