Handle design and weight is unmatched

I've owned a couple high-end Japanese knives over the past few years, and switching over to this German knife has been a game changer! The thicker handle and heavier tang makes helps me have more control over the blade. It also makes the blade feel so much lighter than it should be. I don't foresee myself buying a different series of knife for a very long time.

A big improvement over the knife it is replacing… I got my original chef’s knife nearly 30 years ago as a wedding gift and it had been sharpened so many times that the hilt was lower than the blade. This knife is a perfect replacement since the hilt doesn’t go all the way to the edge of the knife. I suspect this one will last even longer!

We got this knife for our wedding and LOVE it. Super solid, with a thick metal core, and easy to hold / cut. We tried cooking at the in-laws house but their cheap Henkel knife was so bad, light, and dull that we ended up buying one of these for her! Worth the price every time.

I wanted a slightly longer knife than my normal knife so I got this one. It’s beautiful like my others and is the quality I expect from Zwilling. I love that it’s sharp and feels so good in my hands. Having the right tool for the job makes food prep more enjoyable and I am looking forward to all those pineapples I am going to juice with the help of this bad boy,
