[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Knife was razor sharp right out of the box, feels great in the hand and looks great. The handle is sturdy and solid but not heavy, balances the blade well. Grip is comfortable and the blade is nimble, good all around knife.
I would recommend this to a friend!

A Workhorse

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The bolster design allows for a perfect pinch grip. The 8 inch variation of this knife has a really nice balance, and allows for very agile movement, but has enough weight to get through large vegetables. The knife comes so sharp you can't even tell your cutting something. It is also very easy to maintain.

Excellent blade. Good hefty weight. The large belly might take a little while to adjust to if you are used to a more typical chef's knife profile.

Handle design and weight is unmatched

I've owned a couple high-end Japanese knives over the past few years, and switching over to this German knife has been a game changer! The thicker handle and heavier tang makes helps me have more control over the blade. It also makes the blade feel so much lighter than it should be. I don't foresee myself buying a different series of knife for a very long time.
