[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This knife makes meal prep a true joy! I am zipping through my tasks almost effortlessly. In the past I had a different style of Zwilling knives for years that I enjoyed for 20+ years. Slowly they were discarded and replaced with less costly versions. This knife reminds me of why I chose this brand in the first place. You get what you pay for. Truly superior performance! I will be purchasing the entire set !
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This knife has such a great weight and feel, when holding it I feel like the Chef I never knew I could be. COVID has let me cook a lot more at home for my wife and I, and her birthday gift to me was this beauty.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With pretty severe carpal tunnel syndrome cutting has become difficult for me. I love to cook and my new chefs knife has made easy work of everything I have done since Christmas. Cutting onions and hard potatoes a breeze tough to cut tomatoes no problem. I am literally in love
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So sharp and makes a clean cut every time. Got this as an Xmas gift. Would highly recommend. The weight of the knife is properly balanced in your hand.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love it. Came recommended to me from a chef friend who tells me it’s a very good knife for its price point. So far, so good. Chopping vegetables has never been such a breeze.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Knife has been excellent is still as sharp as the day I got it. The knife is on the heavy side but the balance is excellent.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great knife that I would recommend for anyone who is doing any type of cooking. It is durable and is extremely sharp.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off, the quality of the steel and the ergonomics of this knife is superb. I was maybe a little leery of the blade retention having experience with Japanese knives but it has been proving to be stellar. Many months in and I've yet found a need to sharpen, as light work on a knife steel seems to be all that is needed. Many people are most likely attracted to the pro line for the ergonomics and they don't disappoint. This is easily my most comfortable knife, and perfectly compliments a pinch grip. A bit on the blade profile - if you are accustomed to a traditional western style blade, or even many of the newer Japanese hybrid blades, this has a different curvature that takes a little getting used to. The curve from the point to belly is more dramatic, and the belly of the blade itself is completely flat. Rock chopping with a classic chefs knife to this will feel like you're hitting a sudden stop at the bottom of the stroke. This isn't a bad thing, but different. However I've found it is particularly well suited to tap chopping. Overall this is a fantastic knife, the quality is top notch with great steel. If you are extremely used to a traditional chef's knife blade shape maybe look for the version of this knife with that blade profile (there is one). Used multiple times daily for 4 months.
