[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was given to me as a gift from my husband. Extraordinary in craftsmanship!! The weight and balance is perfect...handle is sublime!! Blade edge is delicately thin, and yet exceptionally strong.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the Artisan handle as well as the powdered steel. Top edge of pinch grip is nicely finished eliminating sore edge of finger when doing lots of chopping. Very precise, but no twisting in hard items like squash and no bones...you may chip it.
Puts old Wustof in a drawer to be only used for hard squash. Highly recommended!

Very poor packaging

Knives are very nice but the packaging is terrible. I just bought this knife plus the 8 inch Chef knife. The polished top part of the blades is shiny and soft. However, they are packaged with a hard clear plastic piece that holds the blade down. On both knives this plastic scratched the knife so I'm sending them back. My goodness... so much work into the knives and the opposite for the packaging.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
