The three virtues are slicing, chopping and mincing. The Artisan line is detail oriented, stunningly beautiful. The hammered finish creates a non stick type surface. the cutting core is super hard and the edge is razor sharp. The contour of the handle makes this knife extremely comfortable to hold. this a quick , sharp knife that you can use for an extended time for a lot of food production!

Easily prepare meat, fish, and vegetables with this broad hammered finished blade and especially sharp cutting edge. The contoured rosewood handle shape makes for a very comfortable grip and effortless cutting.

Superb 7" Santoku knife from Miyabi Artisan. Not only aesthetically beautiful, but also performs so well. The Miyabi line is exquisite - thin blade for extra sharpness, hammered blade on Artisan so food does not stick. Made in Japan by skilled artisans. Love the brown pakkawood wood handle with red and brass details! Stunning!

Santoku At Its Best

I recently added this knife to my Artisan collection and so happy I did. It is great for those huge vegetable prep sessions. The blade is made out of SG2 steel which is durable for a lifetime and the rounded belly of the Cocobolo pakkawood handle super comfortable.

A beautiful hammered SG2 steel blade that is expertly made for chopping. The edge of this blade is an incredible 9.5 to 12 degrees and is capable of giving you the thinnest slices. It will stay sharp due to the hardness and quality of the steel and it because of the patented ice hardening process it will be chip and crack resistant. I love the feel of the traditional Japanes D shaped handle.
