The sharpest tool in the shed

Japanese blade, riveted curved handle. Get the best of both an Asian and German knife. Scalpel like sharpness, slices cucumbers paper thin. The curved handle is very cmfortable even for a lefty. It is the best tool in the house.

I recently purchased the 8" Evo Chef's knife. I had purchased 2 other chef knives (I won't mention the brands) but I wasn't really that impressed with the retention. They got sharp but didn't stay sharp long. This knife does. I absolutely love this knife. It's perfect for an enthusiast like myself. I'm sure it works well in the professional as well just from the reviews. I got the best deal on this knife! I couldn't believe it. I only paid half of the selling price you'll find everywhere. I should have bought a dozen of them. FIVE STARS! in my unprofessional opinion. lol. Buy this knife you can't go wrong for a hundred bucks. I've told everyone the difference a quality knife makes. I hated prepping food. Now I can't wait to use my knife. Seriously! I love it that much. It's game changer!
Tip was bent because it slid forward out of packing, awesome knife

The best knife I've ever owned

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had a couple of "grown-up" quality knives in my life, and enjoyed them all, but this is by far the best one I've ever owned. Perfectly balanced, feels great in hand. I have two cutting boards, a Boos Block, and a cheap plastic one for meat, I was hesitant to use this on the plastic, but i am happy to say that this knife holds a great edge, even on plastic. Only requires a quickly weekly honing with a ceramic rod to stay razor sharp!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a professional chef and have been cooking for many years and used many different types of knives. I was looking for something that was slim and lightweight for fine knife work, slicing and julienning. This knife worked very well for this purpose, but the tip of the blade did chip off as the metal seems to be a little brittle. If you're looking for a heavy duty chopping knife this is not it, but is perfect for the finer things.
