Sharp knife but sticky

I loved the way the handle of this knife felt, and it is very sharp. Unfortunately everything I slice sticks to the side of the knife. Every few chops I need to use my hand to remove food.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had a miyabi knife for over 3 years now it is my favorite tool in the kitchen wether at work or at home. I highly recommend this brand it is my all time favorite as a chef I have been able to do great designs out of avocado and other things with it and actually was in the Malibu times for a dish I created with this knife.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Miyabi Evolution 8 inch takes the best of the classic German knife and refines it with the fine blade profile and attention to detail which Japanese knifes are known for. I cannot say enough about this knife.
