[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this same knife for my son in law in December 2020. He loves it so much that I had to purchase one for myself. This model was out of stock for a while so I had to wait but it was worth it. The knife not only looks great it performs even better. It's the sharpest knife that I have ever used and the weight and balance makes it a pleasure to work with. I also bought the bamboo cutting board and won't use the knife on any other board. Great products offered by Zwilling.

A precision instrument

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Super sharp and beautiful out of the box! Since then it has held its edge well. I was a little worried about the FC61 steel since I had never heard of it but it is equal if not better than other Japanese steels we have used. The " western " shape of the chef's knife makes it perfect for our kitchen needs.
