Perfect Veggie and Fruit Knife

This knife is perfect for chopping, slicing and dicing fruits, veggies and herbs. Does a better job than a traditional chef knife due to the Hollow Edge which causes the fruits and veggies to easily slide off the blade instead of stacking up on the blade. Fantastic price.

Stamped from high quality stainless steel, this santoku is great for mincing, slicing, and dicing. Hollow grounds prevent food from sticking to the side of the knife while cutting. Lightweight with a comfortable traditional three-riveted handle.

The best chopping knife

Santoku knives are the best bet for vegetable-centric cooking, IMHO. Actually, I use it for vegetables, meats everything. The width and length are perfect for cutting large potatoes and small strawberries. The hollow grooves on the side reduce friction so food falls away. Plus this knife is lightweight without compromising blade sharpness. Maintained properly, it will last many years. Extremely good value.
The Solution line of knives is a good step up to quality stamped steel cutlery. The knives are made from high quality German steel that will not stain or rust or pit. They are made - from the tip of the blade to the heel of the handle - from a single piece of steel providing terrific stability. It feels good in the hand and does the work efficiently.

Perfect multi use knife!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the light weight feeling of this knife and the size is perfect for chopping everything from vegetables to chicken breasts to steak fajita meat. The handle is very comfortable too. I also love that it's dishwasher safe-- easy clean up!

This 7 inch hollow edge santoku knife is a very lightweight, balanced knife due to the stamped construction and full tang. This knife is wonderful for slicing, dicing, chopping all sorts of fruits, veggies, and meats. The handle provides a great grip and the blade is very sharp.
