[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The knife is very balanced in your hand, the craftsmanship is first class cuts beautifully. The design of the blade prevents vegetables from sticking to the knife as you cut. The fine edge allows for precision cutting, preparing dinner is so much easier with this 7” Santoku knife.

Solution knives are a great value priced line of knives that are perfect for a starter kitchen. Stamped from a single sheet of high quality stainless steel they are light weight and corrosion resistant. A full tang of steel running through the handle makes them stable and sturdy. I like the way the handle is high on the bolster because it provides a comfortable area for my pinch grip. The Santoku knife is perfect for chopping and the seven inch gives a nice reach.

Value Santoku Knife!

Santoku is just as good as the Chef knife with just key differences. Santoku is better to be chopping motion however it is as versatile as the Chef knife. Will chop and glide when cutting and slicing food such as meat, veggies, fruits and herbs. The indention on the blade creates barrier between the food and the steel, so the food will not stick on the blade. A well-made knife for a reasonably priced, manufactured with high quality stainless steel.
