gorgeous and unique

These Birchwood knives are the epitome of perfection. The handles are each a unique piece of work. They are very smooth and get better looking with use. The pin accents and the metal cap and spacers really give it an elegance. The blades are amazing. The mico-carbide steel is very thin and very sharp. The 101 Damascus style layering adds another touch of artistry to this already beautiful set. The blades are no serrated so they cut nicely without tearing and are able to be resharpened with ease.

The Miyabi Birchwood steak knives are masterpieces. The SG2 steel is extremely hard, which makes for a long lasting edge that just glides through meat. Love the design the 100 layers of steel create over the inner core. Traditional Japanese knife made in Seki Japan is a special addition to our kitchen, and used for the most important special occasions.
