Finally got a great knife

For a lightweight, quality santoku knife, this Forged Synergy is a nice option. The hollow edge divets help to guide food up and off of the blade keeping it out of your way. The handle is comfortable and the blade promises long lasting sharpness.

Priced right for a well designed knife. Japanese style, full tang for durability, and great
balance and weight. Glides effortlessly through fruits, vegetables, meats and cheeses with hollow blade edge preventing food from sticking.
This is my go to knife, and I use it instead of a traditional chef's knife. Lighter and
easier to control. Makes cutting and chopping less of a chore and much more
enjoyable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I liked the product. I am a vegetarian and it works great with onion for mincing and dicing. It’s little heavy but I like it that way as it’s very durable.
