A rocking santoku is what happens when East meets West and when thoughtful designers meet expert knife makers!
This knife shape and construction is perfect for prepping almost all vegetables. The arc of the blade facilitates the Western style rocking motion. The width of the blade from tip to heel provides stability when cutting into larger foods - like onions, squash and melons. And the hollow grooves reduces the sticking of wetter vegetables.
Pro knife almost has a Katana edge of Miyabi and these Pro rocking santoku is the best of all Zwilling German knives. It does everything for your cutting needs. I personally enjoyed using them and so as my customers are satisfied with it's fnctionality and performance.
Whenever I have someone ask me if there is one knife out there that can do it all this is the one I recommend. This knife has the strength and durablity of a German " chef with the qualities of an Asian style Santoku. Cuts through just about any food (try it on Butternut squash), has hollows to diminish sticking, rocks like a Chef, cuts like a Santoku and has a comfortable curved bolster.
Another great Professional knife to add to my collection. I love the design. I love the feel. I can chop with ease and also rock through a lot of prep with this knife. Winner!!
I never had a rocking santoku knife, but then I used this one and I was hooked! I absolutely love using this knife for everything, it is my go to knife in the kitchen. It's perfect for cutting anything and it rocks so nicely, especially when mincing herbs. Everyone needs a rocking santoku knife in their kitchen!
This knife is the perfect combination of two of my favorite knives! It can be used for any task whether you are rocking or chopping. The hollow edge helps guide my food up and off the blade and the curved bolster is oh so comfortable! Everyone should have this guy in their repertoire.
