[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can’t say enough about how much I love this knife! It has a great feel in the hand and is easy to work with. It’s versatility makes it the go to knife in my kitchen. The edge is incredibly sharp and holds up well. When it begins to dull, a few swipes on the steel quickly gets it back to peak performance.

Only down side is the blade guard they sold me-doesn’t fit properly.

Best knife ever!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I do a lot of home cooking. Preparation was always my least favorite thing about cooking. I much prefer experimenting with flavors and ingredients, seeing the final product, and most importantly, seeing my guests reaction when something is superb. This knife has changed all of that. I took a basic knife skills class at a local kitchen shop. A Zwilling chef was there to give the class. I learned so many valuable lessons, one of which was how important what tools are used. This knife is so versatile, you get the best of both worlds. The rocking motion of a chef's knife, and the chopping motion of the santoku. A sharp blade is also very important and this is so sharp, very little effort is needed for just about anything you may want to prep. I am eternally grateful for the class that I took as well as getting to know this fabulous knife. I will use it always.

My new favorite knife!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This knife is weighted perfectly and feels great in my hand. The curve of the blade enables a natural cutting motion. The arched bolster makes a bigger difference than I thought it would- I really love it.
