Lighweight, Forged, All-around Knife.

Forged, tough steel hand-honed in Japan. Very comfortable pakkawood handle which is a durable wood. Has good knuckle clearance and long enough to any but the largest jobs.

The Miyabi Koh line is one of my favorite and the prep knife is one of my most used knives in the kitchen. It is super sharp so can slice, dice, and chop with percision and it feels comfortable in my hand while using, which is very important.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Beauty and funtion

The line of Koh knives are so beautiful and I have found that I really like the octagonal handle that is so unique to this particular knife. This is one of my favorite knives because it isn't super long so that I can maneuver it easily and it has knuckle clearance to make it easier to cut.

This Miyabi Koh line is so beautiful. It is made from FC61 steel, so it will be durable and extremely sharp. The handle fits nicely in your hand too.
This prep knife is great to have for every day prep- peeling, slicing, dicing, etc. It is a very versatile knife that will definitely come in handy.

great all around knife

I am very happy with this knife. It is the perfect size for most tasks. It is larger than a pairing knife and the offset handle makes it easy to use in hand or on the cutting board. The handle is very comfortable and light. The mosaic pin in the handle is a nice artistic touch. The blade is very sharp. It goes through a double hardening process giving a very durable yet thin blade. The Japanese craftsmanship shines through with the traditional Katana watermarking by the cutting edge and it is finished in the traditional Honbazuke sharpening method.

Great for slicing sashimi!

Got this knife for cutting sashimi at home. Perfect for the size of sashimi grade fish you can get from the grocery store. Does exactly what I expect it to do: slicing fish like butter!

Super sharp easy to prep vegetables and herbs for dishes! Can handle almost anything barring huge pieces of meat or very dense vegetables. Steel is very sharp out of the box!! A new irreplaceable piece for my kitchen.
