We have a large family and use this to make one dish meals. Everything is always so flavorful and get lots of compliments on whatever I serve. I love that it's oven safe also.

I bought this for a Christmas gift for my sister, she loves white everything. This cocotte does it all, you can make soup, stew, you can steam, deep fry and even cook burgers in it. The heat capability of the pan is amazing - heats up quickly and evenly, also stays hot for hours. It has self-basting spikes on the interior of the lid which collect and return all moisture back into dish - nothing dries out and the food stays moist. My sister has been using it to fry steaks for her teenage boys. Perfect caramelization every time.

This is an awesome large round cocotte. It is a great cocotte for feeding multiple people due to its' large size. It slow cooks meats to perfection thanks to its' self-basting lid which locks in moisture. The white truffle color is really pretty and goes well with any occasion.

The 7-qt can feed a crowd and I often combine the 7-qt and 5.5-qt for the holidays when I am hosting. One is just not enough if you want seconds available, and we always need seconds available. I will take one to the table and then refill as not to have too many on the table at once, or if you want, you can put a cocotte at each end too.

Like oyster coloured would be best description. 7 quart handles small-to-large meals. Solid cast iron enameled inside and out for long-lasting, evenly heated cooking. Patented mini-spikes keep everything within super-moist.

I would say it's a light gray truffle. We were expecting an off white, the color of the image on the web-site and in person are different. I wouldn't say white in the color description. We were a little bummed but didn't want to wait to return and get the white one instead. Overall the quality of it is amazing and allowed us to start our sourdough bread making adventures.

Vast improvement offer pressure cooker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Made beef and barley stew with some nice short ribs by searing and braising in the oven for 2 hours.
For years I have done this type of dish in the pressure cooker; the results were incomparable.
Wonder price of cookware!
