This mini cocotte is perfect to serve individual snacks, desserts and decorative in your kitchen when not in used. A pig or rooster knob is also an addition to its beauty.

I don't think this was designed to be a salt keeper but it sure makes a good one.
Perfect size to sit next to the stove, the lid keeps the salt fresh and it looks so cute!

I have a couple of these in the kitchen that I keep fresh herbs in after crushing them in my mortar and pestle. Perfect for storing so many things and keeps it fresh due to the tight-fitting lids.

The scaled down mini carries the same characteristics as bigger brothers...right down tobaby spikes for keeping food moist. Desserts and 1 serving soups go well in these.

Beauty for more than just cooking

I had to buy this when I saw it because it was so cute and I love using it as a salt container because it is really good at keeping moisture out. I can keep it on my counter, I don't have to worry about it ever getting damaged because instead of being made out of ceramic, it's cast iron.
