This 5.5 prep knife is a very lightweight, balanced knife due to the stamped construction and full tang. This knife is wonderful for every day kitchen prep- slicing, dicing, mincing, chopping, etc. The handle provides a great grip and the blade is very sharp.

This prep knife is one of the most used knives in my kitchen. I really like this blade profile as it supports the rocking and chopping motions. I use this almost as much as a chef knife, but generally on medium to small tasks where this blade size is perfect. Lightweight and comfortable for extended time in the kitchen.

Perfect size prep knife

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the size of this knife. It's large enough to hold comfortably and use daily but not as small as a paring knife so I can cut larger items quickly. I use for cubing potatoes frequently and finish quickly.
