I use these for individual servings of mainly hot dishes and it they can be used for savoy as well as sweet dishes. They go from the oven to the table and when done, they clean up easily.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Au Gratin!

I really like using this dish for scallops scampi gratin. As you would expect from a Staub cast iron, the dish heats up quickly and evenly. The scallops get a perfect sear and into the oven with some buttery crumb topping to finish. Beautiful presentation dish. The angle of the handle is just right to prevent injuries. the innovative black matte interior will aid in the release of food and ease in clean up.

cooks frittatas or make fajitas and serve the "hot". Like the Matte Black and would recommend for sure.
