Very attractive. Love the handles. Makes great pies, deep enough for my mile high apple pie. And also good for quiche and other desserts. Bakes beautifully. I've even used this piece to bake a treat for someone and tell them to keep the dish.

Love this 9" Staub Pie Dish and the way it cooks pies evenly even at high temps. Wonderful to serve warm apple pie, shepards pie and chicken pie right from from oven to table. Doesn't scratch and cleans easily.

Love this beauty for all those berry, peach and apple pies, but also for quiche and casseroles. Takes you from breakfast to dinner and dessert. Ceramic dish that holds heat and is easy to clean. Has nice ridges for the pie crust you make from hand.

Fruit tart every night? Mais oui!

Now I know how the French can do a tart every night. It's nothing big and elaborate. It is fresh fruit, a crust or cake to support the fruit, and voila! Dessert! It makes perfectly good sense. Something fresh and a little sweet, using whatever is in season, and with just enough leftover (if you're lucky) to have with breakfast. Done. And this shallow 9-inch pie dish delivers a evenly baked pie or tart every time. The quality of the bake comes from the quality of the clay, it is dense and time tested. Also making it easy to clean. Into the dishwasher it goes. Also great for quiche, and other savory recipes.

Such a cute pie plate. The 9 inch size is perfect for all standard pie dough recipes. The fluted edges give great shape and character to my pies. The ceramic heats very evenly and is super easy to clean. It looks nice on the table as well so no need to transfer to another dish. I serve directly from it.
