[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The knife is very good at chopping, but can be delicate. I was cutting a peach and the peach pit made the knife crack at the bottom.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a perfect size knife for a woman’s hand. Who could imagine my over 6 foot Spouse would decide it was a perfect fit for him also. Instead of fighting over who would use the knife, we added a second one to our collection of Henckel knives. Everyone is happy!

Sharp and Versatile

When I became a bachelor again in the late 70's, I bought the basic French pattern knives knives: 10-inch and 4-inch chef's, boning and bread. I always wanted something between the two chef's knives, When Japan-style knives became popular, I added the 5.5-inch 4-star Santoku. It has become my favorite knife, At lunch time my wife and I complete for it; slicing salame or fruit it's the right size and shape.
