This light weight Santoku is perfect for someone who prefers a smaller blade and lighter knife for chopping but doesn't want to give up quality. It's great to chop small fruits and vegetables or even slice through small pieces of meat.
Four Star is a top quality knife forged from high carbon German steel, made in Germany just the same as the Pro knives. The difference is in the handle construction; it has a molded handle instead of three rivets making it lighter.
The Santoku has become one of the most used knives in my kitchen. It is great for meat, fish, and vegetables. German Steel, made in Germany and sharp right out of the box. You will love this knife!
I prefer the 5" Santoku to the 7" because my hands are smaller and find this easier to use on a daily basis. It maneuvers well and the handle is comfortable and the knife cuts beautifully thru meats and veggies. The hollow edge means no more using your fingers to clean off the knife!
Four Star knives have been around for a long time but continue to be relevant. This is a great knife to tackle those small veggie projects. The molded handle feels good in the hand and the hollows keep food from sticking to the blade.

Chopping, slicing and mincing!!! You will absolutely love the feel and weight of this knife. It's light, super sharp and the handle is smooth!! This makes me happy to chop!!
I’ve been super happy with this knife it’s about 12 years old and still cuts everything. You can see there’s no rust and the handle is still in perfect condition. I do hand wash all my knives but they are dishwasher safe.
