I’ve been super happy with this knife it’s about 12 years old and still cuts everything. You can see there’s no rust and the handle is still in perfect condition. I do hand wash all my knives but they are dishwasher safe.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Fantastic All purpose knife

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first Henkels knife was a double Henkels 7’ chef knife I bought about 15 years ago and still going strong. My daughter bought this as a gift when she heard me rave about the santoku knife I had tried at a store demo. It does not disappoint . I have cut soft fruits like mango and harder item like carrots. I was able to get precise cuts and was easy on the wrists. I got a great dice with smaller veggies like ginger and chilies. Love this knife!

Light, Comfortable and Sharp German Steel!

This is a perfect length for someone who's looking for not so small or not so big on their hand, at the same time you'll have perfect control of the knife. Comfortable and balanced size, will quickly become the go-to knife for everyday tasks. It's the most easiest to sharpen, it has a unique blade shape and ergonomic bolster. Whether chopping, slicing, or dicing, the broad blade are comfortable in the hand. This can is a vegetable knife, large fruit knife, and a meat knife as well.

Light Weight, Top Quality

This light weight Santoku is perfect for someone who prefers a smaller blade and lighter knife for chopping but doesn't want to give up quality. It's great to chop small fruits and vegetables or even slice through small pieces of meat.
Four Star is a top quality knife forged from high carbon German steel, made in Germany just the same as the Pro knives. The difference is in the handle construction; it has a molded handle instead of three rivets making it lighter.

I grew up with the Four Star line in my parents kitchen and now that I am on my own I didn't even think of looking for another blade. The handle material is super comfortable and gives me confidence in my grip. The traditional blade design has never changed and is consistently sharp and stays sharp for a long time. Im so glad that some things never change. The German quality and engineering really shine through here. The Santoku shape is great for all of my slicing and chopping needs. The acute angle gives me nice straight cuts.

A versatile companion to the 7” version

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This 5” santoku knife is the perfect companion to the 7” version. My wife and I will cook together, and we often will be chopping foods at the same time. It’s ideal to have a second chopping knife (besides our chef’s knife) so that one person and be chopping the larger vegetables and meats while the other is finely chopping smaller vegetables. The 5” knife is great for green onions, garlic, carrots, cucumbers, etc. It’s lighter and easier to handle than the larger knifes for doing fine chopping.

Great knife

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This replaced a less expensive knife that had done a good job but was ready to be replaced. We have a Zwilling Four Star set, so it was natural to replace with that. This new knife feels great in my hands and is comfortable to use for long periods of time. The edge is fantastic, and it’s great to have such a quality knife in our collection.
