[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The knives are pristine and perform well. We had an issue with one of the knives —it had a small rust stain on it when we unpacked the box but customer service said they would send a replacement ASAP. I’ve been using the other knives for about a week and hve zero complaints.

This is a great selection of knives for this block set. The Santoku is one of the most used knives in the kitchen and some can cost as much as the entire block. If you do not like sharpening your own knives this is also the perfect block for you as the knives are sharpened when you put the knives in their slot, or take them out. Great set at a really good value.

Enjoy the ease of maintaining your Statement knives with this self-sharpening block. Keep the edge and angle on these perfectly weighted and balanced knives, every time you pull them out. The wood block is beautiful and stores the essential knives one needs in the kitchen!

I have read up on this brand and always recommended it to everyone even without owning them just because of all the great things I have read. Used it today and I must say I am very pleased. Good weight and great edge. Love that's it's self sharpening. Would highly recommend this any day..a wonderful addition to my kitchen.
