The bonus to this product is the sharpening feature built in to the holder, so there's no need to worry about them being sharp.

I bought this set for my son. He really likes it! It's got everything you need plus you don't have to worry about sharpening. He also will put it in the dishwasher. Don't worry- it's self sharpening!!

They are sharp, be careful, and make chopping, slicing and cutting a breeze. The sharpening block is really an extra bonus and is the icing on the cake. We both loves these knives. Don’t hesitate.
