[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great starter knife set for a husband that likes to cook! Yes I am referring to myself and husbands all over. This knife set includes the essential Miyabi Birchwood knifes which is the most beautifully crafted knives. They look like works of art that belong in a museum and are incredibly sharp. They have helped make cooking fun and easier. The really like how they do not rust easily. My other high carbon Japanese knives are very sharp but need to be oiled and cared for extra well or they will rust. You can bet I’m going to collect the other ones also.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These knives are a masterpiece! The birchwood handle is so comfortable to grip, slicing and dicing however I please. The craftsmanship is too notch with every blade made to perfection. All the knives are razor sharp right out the box. I cannot be more happier with this purchase and plan to complete my set as soon as possible!

When preparing dinner I had to slice the steak and they cut right through in one slice! These knives blew my mind! I highly recommend them to anyone in need of new knives! And the handles on these are so beautiful!
