I received a Miyabi Birchwood knife set as a birthday gift, and it has quickly become one of my favorite tools in the kitchen. The craftsmanship is exceptional, from the beautiful birchwood handles to the flawless fit and finish throughout the set. What stands out most is the balance—each knife feels comfortable, precise, and effortless to use. I primarily prepare vegetables and fish, and the razor-sharp edge and excellent control make those tasks a pleasure. The combination of premium materials, thoughtful design, and outstanding performance gives these knives a special quality that is hard to describe until you use them. The handles were unfinished and rough wood (separate knives we ordered from this same set were a finished handle as were the ones we got years ago). Several knives were also bent. Would NOT buy these again, quality has tanked.

Beautiful Knife Set, I love the birchwood handle and the blade design. It cuts just as good as all ZWilling Products and comes with a bit more maintenance and care. After cooking for 20 years, this was a gift from my husband and I am so grateful to have this set.
