Beautiful knife!

Amazing blade. The birchwood handle is very thirsty for food grade mineral oil. Still coating it with food grade mineral oil and coming back 20 minutes later to a dry handle! Waiting for it to be wet so I can wipe it down and start using the knife.
The Damascus pattern is textured
I would recommend this to a friend!

It's gorgeous and quite sharp out of the box. I do prefer the handle to be finished, bringing out the amazing highlights of the birchwood and adding some protection. Following the recipe and steps from a YouTube video and extremely happy with the results. Going to be difficult to wipe the grin off my face when using this bad boy. Admittedly wondering if I should have gotten the 240mm vs the 210mm. If the 240 goes on sale... Might just have to pick it up.
