It’s pretty it cuts well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love Japanese knives, I have many (four letter word, competitor brand) and my wife got me my first miyabi. My last name is Miyanaga and my sign in is usually miyabi so it’s funny. This knife is pretty. It came sharp, we’ll see how it holds up but I love the blonde handle and the look.

Beauty with scalpel like precision

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Birchwood gyuto is a gorgeous addition to my knives. I knew immediately that it was no regular kitchen knife simply from the balance. The first cut was literally like using a large scalpel. Having used a variety of Wustoff Classic, Shun Premier and Hikari, this Miyabe elevates the art form in a way I never imagined. Amazing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This knife is so well balanced and Is scalpel sharp! It goes through tough skins like tomatoes and jalapeños with no effort at all? I have carpal tunnel after so many years being a chef and this knife makes my prep painless and effortless!

Beautiful, forever knife

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been wanting a quality knife that will last me forever… came across this online and tried it in person. The handle is so unique, beautiful, and light. I have smaller hands so some of the other handle grips are not as intuitive because of the bulky shape. However, this knife is so light and the blade is well balanced… and the grip is easy for me. Definitely recommend. I’ve been raving it to friends, and those who has seen it also comments how unique and beautiful it is!
