This knife is a game changer! It works for everything from chopping herbs to vegetables to meat and fish. Shopping squash used to always be so scary to me as I was always worried about slipping, but because this knife is so easy to handle and so sharp, it makes cutting squash and pumpkins like nothing! I plan to keep buying the rest of the set as I love these so much! Would definitely recommend!

Rounding out my Miyabi knife set

I augmented my 7 knife Miyabi Artisan set with this 5.25” prep knife. I find myself reaching for this knife more and more often when, historically, I’d only grab my chef’s knife. I love these knives and glad I got this one to round out my set.

These are the greatest knives I have ever owned period. We received one like 10 years ago from some close friends as a gift and it is still our most favorite knife. So we just purchased our 2nd one, the 5-inch prep knife. Today we literally took every single other knife out of our drawer and gave them to one of our boys. We are adding a few more of these to our collection and will only use these going forward.
