6 inch Henkels chef knife review

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At first I was a bit disappointed when I saw it was made in Spain as I thought it would be made in Germany, but that doesn’t seem to make a difference as far as its usefulness goes. It arrived nice and sharp and I think I will have a very long life used from it.

Made in Spain, but the quality is there

I've had Henckels Classic knives for more than 20 years. They have made many great meals. The 6-inch chef's knife is a great place to start owning the line. It will do most of the chopping, dicing, and mincing work in the kitchen. Add a paring knife and bread knife, and 99% of your basic cooking needs are met. These are forged knives made of quality German steel. They sharpen up nicely. Great value.

Having tiny hands means some knifes can feel bulky & unwieldy, but this knife fits comfortably in my small hands as well as my spouses larger hands. I can't recommend it enough!

Newer designs for chef's knives have handles that are too big for my small hands. Henckels have always worked for me. Love the shape. Stay sharp.
