It's sharp, sleek and very comfortable; the perfect combo for a parer. I use a parer for any type of cutting that must be done in my hand such as peeling an apple, removing bad spots and peeling potatoes, or separating garlic.
It's forged from German steel; it's sharp and is going to hold it's edge really well. The handle has a great weight and feel making it a perfect parer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This Modernist paring knife truly kicks butt. I love how sleek it looks and more importantly, how comfortable the handle grip is. The knife is perfectly balanced and super durable.

Gave this to my friend's daughter at her Bridal Shower. She is very picky so I was a little nervous about getting it for her. I'm so glad I did. She loves the sleek modern design, and the fact that is made with German Steel, which is the best steel as far as cutlery goes. This is her go to knife for small jobs, and feels great in her hand. Didn't know at the time she is left handed. This knife really works for her unlike others she's tried.

sleek comfortable knife

I am very happy with this knife. When I was looking for a new paring knife I knew I wanted a Henckels because the name has always meant quality to me. I was pleasantly surprised with this new modern look. The solid steel construction is very sleek. The satin finished handle is nice to look at and comfortable in my hand. The blade is very sharp and stays that way for a long time.

Great little paring knife. Made from German steel its strong and durable. I actually use this knife as a serving knife on my cheese board but I have grabbed it for quick cuts here and there. Handle is a brushed steel so no slippage when it gets wet.

Best Bar Knife

Its a very good paring knife. No question. But it really shines (pun intended) as a bar knife. Also beautiful on a cheese board. But if you prefer to keep it in the kitchen, it will still deliver.
For the record, I never thought I would be a fan of an all metal knife. But like many things these days, I'm an old dog learning new tricks. This knife - this entire line - rocks! And it looks good too!
These are fully forged knives - a sign of top quality. They are made with one of Zwilling's proprietary steels - so they won't stain, they will stay sharp. And they are designed for comfort with optimal sized grips for most people. They are also lighter than most knives. So if weight is an issue for you, you will like these knives. Extremely good value.

Contemporary looking knife in all stainless. Contoured handle is hollow with good weight and balance and forged bolster for added control. Dishwasher safe.
