East meets West perfection

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The beauty and performance of this knife is unlike any other I've used. I'm a home chef, so comfort and performance were key. This knife is made for a right-handed user with the asymmetrical design of the handle. The Bob Kramer shaped heel of the blade is both comfortable and practical. This knife absolutely stuns dinner guests with it's beauty and is wonderful to use!

I have rather large hands and it’s difficult to find a knife that fits my hand without a compromise on weight. the Meji 8in chefs knife is in my opinion is in the master class of knives. I love this knife! It glides rather than cuts!
While I think this knife is near perfection, I think it is important to mention that this knife is rather large, has a d-shape handle, and is pricey.
Despite the concerns above, if you are looking for a knife that will easily become a loved piece of art and functionality in your household, look no further. This knife is everything I expected and more!

Great chefs knife

The sharpness of the blade is almost scary but the knife has a great weight and feel in hand. Wish it came with a couple of recommendations for knife shield or stand but looking into scavenging the website for one now.
