Beautiful Damascus, perfect balance, laser sharp edge, great feel in hand! Only concern is tiny gaps where the tang meets the bolster. Other than that, this is one knife that will stay in my collection for life!

The Meiji line is as tough as it is beautiful. Made of 101 layers of steel, and ice hardened in the process, this tough knife will work hundreds of menus before it needs to be sharpened. The patterned blade is reminiscent of Damascus layering. The bright stainless is eye catching. I smile whenever I use one. The handle is a little longer than traditional handles. Great for larger hands or folks who don't use a pinch grip.
The 8-inch chef's knife isn't 'over-arc-ed'; has just enough curve for my liking.

not a traditional Kramer.

This is a very edgy Kramer knife. The shape of the blades seems true to style but the handle is so unique. Now that he has ventured into Asian Cutlery, I am excited to see it showing up in his production lines. This has the feeling of his custom asian knives he now makes but (without the incredibly creative blades) but at a price more can afford.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It is a joy to use. We always made the majority of our meals at home and even moreso since the pandemic. This knife has been a bright little ray of sunshine in all my cooking endeavors.
