Not sure if the tang goes to the end of the handle, but it’s totally balanced and has a great feel in the hand.

It’s an honor to have a Kramer knife in my collection . As a Line Cook I’ve used a range of knives and the build on this Meiji is incredible . It’s light while still being sturdy , precise while still being a bigger blade . It’s a great all around knife . I recommend this knife to anyone in the industry or someone who appreciates blades .

I heard of Bob Kramer from Anthony Bourdain's (R.I.P) Raw Craft and was so amazed at his dedication to knife making. Bob's commitment to his skill is second to none and his knives go for a price point that is out of reach for most, when the are available. This knife is not only a masterpiece to work with but to look at. A must buy to make each meal memorable.

The perfect Chef Knife

This knife has been the Rockstar of my collection. The large tall blade makes it perfect for processing large quantities of ingredients. The knife itself is gorgeous, both the blade and handle are very ergonomic. The spine of the blade is round to help with callous.

I have been using my previous zwilling chef knife for over 10 years and was looking to upgrade and treat myself. This knife did exactly that. Its both beautiful and versatile. I have longer fingers which the handle perfectly fits with its d-shape. The edge holds well with good maintenance, but not as finicky as most Japanese knifes. VERY happy with this one
