Don't let the name deter you

Even if you don't make Bouillabaisse get this pot for its pretty size and shape! As will all Staub pieces this pot will give you superior browning on the matte black interior and provide even heating for whatever you are cooking. This one also has generous handels that are comfortable to use when handling. Oven safe and beautiful on your table you can choose this pot for any soups, stews baked pastas or roasts.

This piece is a great presentation piece for bouillabaisse, but can be used for other dishes as well. I also use it to make risottos, sauces, casseroles. It is a versitile size and I especially like the shape of the bottom for sauces. Beautiful piece and goes from stove/oven to the table with pizazz

This is a great fish stew pot. IT is deep enough to hold plenty of liquid but not to lose those lovely pieces of shellfish to complete drowning. It is a perfect pot to serve from as well. I do enjoy the staub animal knobs and this fish is no exception.

A seafood stew by any name cooks great in this pot

And it looks good too. The rich deep blue even looks like the sea. But what fun when you bring the soup or stew to the table, grab the fish, lift the lid to a delicious mix of seafood and broth. Can you image anything better?
The heavy gauge cast iron of this pot can take the heat and cook everything so well. Clean up and maintenance is easy - just wash, dry, repeat.

Gorgeous pot for cooking and serving

I love how this pot has a really wide bottom so that I can brown a lot of meat at once, so I don't have to do as many batches. The knob is such a cute fish and it also is very functional because I feel like I can grab is easily. The handles on this pot are also very easy to grab.

Ample size for many servings. Heat consistency can't be beat. A beautiful enameled exterior...and black enameled interior cleans like a breeze.

Many Uses for this Pot

The shape of this pot gives enough room to do many cooking tasks. Wide enough to use for stir fry, deep enough to sauce and sear meats and vegetables, you will find many ways to incorporate this pot into your everyday rotation. Cook and serve right from the pan. Makes an elegant serving dish.
