A small rice cooker, and soup pot!

I never thought of this .75qt. petite french oven can do be more useful than I thought it did after owning one.
To my surprise, this is what customer is looking for a rice cooker like me. This small cocotte cooks single serve rice perfectly, oatmeal, use for boiling eggs, and great for soup even deep frying small food portion.

A great wedding gift - get two, his and hers. This pot is perfect for individual servings for anything. It goes from everyday to elegant. Chicken Pot Pie to Lobster Pot Pie. Gumbo and Jambalaya. Perfect. Cobblers, cakes and crumbles. Appetizers, too.The even heating and easy clean up make it very welcomed in any kitchen.

This pot was recommended to me to use for overnight oatmeal. It works perfectly! the oats soak so nicely then just turn on the heat in the morning...ready to go. Something about using cast iron gives the oatmeal so much rich flavor while maintaining the texture. Hubby gets excited every time he sees the pot he expects there is oatmeal coming.

Cute little pot

I love this cute little pot to make a single serving of soup or macaroni and cheese. I love the contrasting brass knob that is on the top of the pot. The cast iron is great at retaining heat, so when I take this from the oven to the table, the food stays hot for a long time.

I love all the Staub products. This little one is no exception. It still has all the characteristics of what makes Staub so great. The enamel coated cast iron means no seasoning and its much easier to clean than traditional cast iron. It heats easily and retains heat for a very long time. The matte interior gives great browning as well. This french design is nice with its rounded corners allowing for easy stirring. I use it for my grain sides and porridge.
