A cocotte that cooks to perfection! Makes 1 pot meals that are delicious and moist, without adding water. The self-basting dots condense water right back into the food, making for tasty and flavorful dishes. Cooks evenly and quickly and keeps the heat inside. Goes from oven to table and into the frig again.

My entire family uses this cocotte. It makes and or heats up soup, it steams, deep fries and we even cook burgers in it. My newest use is to make Dutch baby pancakes in it. The heat capability of the pan is amazing - heats up quickly and evenly, also stays hot for hours. It has self-basting spikes on the interior of the lid which collect and return all moisture back into dish - nothing dries out and the food stays moist. My favorite thing about the pan is how well it sears burgers and steaks. Perfect caramelization every time.

White truffle is a pale tupe color, with light specks running throughout the enamel. Its very unique and unusual. It will go nicely with greys or beigesso this is a color that cant miss.

I purchased this cocotte to make bread. It is perfect for doing that and much more. This is not my first cocotte. I feel at this point that I am a collector of cocottes. This color is so nice. It has a wonderful antique look to it in my opinion.
